Emma Foltynie Counselling.
Accessible and personalised therapeutic counselling in-person or virtually.
My approach
Counselling isn’t only about facing negative challenges and sadness; it can be a pathway to hope and positive change. Therapy is your opportunity to be heard and supported in a space where you can truly be yourself. No concern is too big or too small; if something is weighing on you or making you feel stuck, it’s important you can address it with someone you trust.
I create a confidential, compassionate and open-minded environment where you can feel safe and empowered to explore your experiences and imagine how you want your life to be.
A safe space for you to talk and express yourself
I understand that discussing our deepest thoughts and feelings can be challenging. That’s why I ensure our sessions move at your pace, so you can explore what matters to you in a way that feels comfortable.
I provide a safe and empathetic environment where you can express yourself freely, without fear of judgement.
In-person and virtual options
Our sessions are 50 minutes in duration. On Tuesdays I work from a comfortable, bright space in central Cambridge. There is bike parking on site or metered car parking nearby. It’s a 10 minute walk from Cambridge train station and a 15 minute walk from Drummer Street bus station.
On Wednesdays I work from a cosy purpose-built therapy studio in Milton, which is 4.5 miles north of Cambridge. This position is very convenient for the Science Park and just a couple of minutes from the A14. There is free, convenient parking nearby and a 20-minute walk from Milton Park & Ride.
I can also offer online sessions.
